MSNBC weekend host Melissa Harris-Perry had a particularly tough tax day — the anchor and her husband owe $70,000 in delinquent taxes, according to a report in the Winston Salem-Journal.
The IRS filed the notice on April 6th and filed a lien on the Perrys, the report said. Harris-Perry said she was aware of her debt, but not the tax lien.
She and her husband paid $21,721 of her debt on Wednesday; the remaining debt of $43,581 covers a tax period that ended on December 31st, 2013.

For people like her and Sharpton who have a large income and probably large assets, collection would normally not be difficult for the IRS.
The fact that these debts are still unpaid pretty much means the IRS has been told to take it easy on them.
I guess this explains why she is such a big mouth commie lib on PMSNBC.
