Okay Freepers. Time to play Freeper MD.
For three weeks my hip has been killing me. left side.
Doesn't hurt when I jabbed with my thumb.
Has been hurting when I lay on it.
The last three days, it has been hurting when I sit.
My vainglorius head is getting bigger but, I discern no deformation or growth in the area of pain.
As I sit here typing this out, it is throbbing.
Get to guessing.
Bursitis? Just the fun of being a bit over 50? Hypochondriac? I'm no longer hip?
My guess it bursitis. I am pretty flexible. Can still nearly do the splits, though not as well I did when worked out all the time and I put my palms on the floor and go further just to show off.
Male 51 Dashing looks Vain
Get on with it...
Just curious if y'all have any experience and it turned out to be something a cortisone shot took care of.
(((donning Nymex suit)))
I should.
Maybe tomorrow at 420...
Great. Now I’m going to grow hair on the back of my hand...
AM or PM? It’s important to get it right.
And that is the problem. It’s too soft. If you can’t afford a new one, put a board between the mattress and the foundation.
did that and Johns Hopkis and Saint Paul.
I came to Bursitis but, who knows. My friend I says I wine a lot lately but, I’ve developed an allergy to it, so that can’t be right...
sciatica.
CQ10 seems like a good idea.
Arthritis wouldn’t surprise me.
I had a few shoulder surgeries in the last 3 years and Dr. said he deburred quite a bit.
I hope my hip doesn’t get all crooked like my grandma’s hands...
That’d be weird...
Inversion table helps me with lower back and hip pain, plus helps to tighten the gut.
Try sleeping on a FIR pad. I have been doing it since diagnosed with arthritis,
it get warm, ya need a fan, but I am good to go.
Far infrared Heat.
Totally addicted.
Turmeric and curcumin caps help greatly
If I can make past his assistant Susie Deathrow, that’s a possibility...
Dork!
LOL
Hope you had a great day at work...
Sorry.
Does it click, pop or grind when you walk on it? Do you need a cane. Does it get painful when you walk a while, and then stop hurting almost immediately when you stop for a rest?
Maybe I can just see you? LOL
:-)
yeah, my fear is I start walking some Bella Lugosi character.
Maybe I can reunite with my Mummy...
My doctor told me I was getting older and that I should stop complaining.
Anyway, get an MRI.
I got a doc who specializes in ortho and sports injuries.
If this thing doesn’t subside in a week or so I’ll be in his office.
My friend I says I wine a lot lately but, Ive developed an allergy to it, so that cant be right...
Cut down on the wine(ing). LOL
Anyway, I hope you get it taken care of.
Try laying on your back on the floor. Straighten your leg out , then pull your knee up to your chest with your foot flat on the floor then straighten it out. Repeat several times. Then , laying on the floor, swing your leg side to side with your heel barely clearing the floor. Repeat several times. What you are trying to do is gently move the joint in many directions. It will hurt like hell at first and then start to feel better. I do this when my hip hurts. I think the movement gets out stuff that builds up. I am 62 BTW.
Then keep doing that:)
I was recently diagnosed with arthritis, same symptoms. My mom has fibromyalgia, but I’ve never had that. The doc gave me Mobic, and it works the very best of all. Tylenol and Alleve goes away too quickly.
The IMPORTANT thing to remember is this: Get the inflammation out! My German doc told me to double up on the anti-inflammatories the first couple days, then scale back. I normally don’t need them past two days if I do that, until I have another jab of pain. Don’t fall into the trap of thinking that “I’ll just take enough to ease the pain.” Pain indicates inflammation. You will have more pain later if you don’t reduce the inflammation now. IN other words, the arthritis becomes MUCH worse over time if you fail to reduce the inflammation early on. I used to think that taking the pain meds sparingly was the best thing...but I found the pain was almost constant. By doubling up, I get off the meds in 2 days and usually don’t have an immediate reoccurance. Maybe a week or two...two to three onths...whatever.
Seems fine when I walk. No clicking. I was listening for that.
No popping either

Just got and pretended I was running tires, like football practice. Seems fine.
