This is the "Live Thread" for the 2015 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. I will try to keep it as up to date as possible but feel free to add anything either on the Playoffs in general or your favorite team in particular. Just remember to keep it civil.
That was a stressful game. Glad Crosby got his two goals, but Malkin should have taken the goal.
Agreed, he did a very good job tonight.
Either one being selfish would have been better than what they did. Crosby and Malkin defer to each other too much.
Go Jets; Im definitely not for a team that had playoff tickets available for only $10 yesterday. Let a real hockey city win it.
When Jets centre Bryan Little went to get it, Silfverberg was positioned below Little and grabbed the Winnipeg players stick when he moved toward the puck. Little fell, Silfverberg wound up with the puck and circled out in front of the Winnipeg goal and snapped a high shot to the short side past Ondrej Pavelec to decide the game.
If any of you get a chance take the time to listen to the National Anthem before the Penguins game
Jeff Jimmerson starts it off and then let's the Pittsburgh fans sing. Gives me a thrill every time I hear it!
I've been too busy otherwise to watch (or cap) as much of these Playoffs as I'd like so far
Catching last night's MTL-OTT game muted with C/C on though, I did have to chuckle at the
errant transcription of the name of the Sens' MICHALEK after he was stoned by G Carey Price ;-)
Fans acting unseemly, no room for this stuff:
This represents surely an extremely small amount of fans. Still for those interested, some might like the article.
A car had the rear license plate removed and was keyed? Mostly small time stuff like this. Doesn’t really add up to a hill of beans.

Scoresway, click on your game and they’ve got great graphic following of the game IF they have it up which they usually do.

Blackhawks/Predators, clubs I have cheered for have lost most of these overtimes, pins and needles.
Can’t believe this blooming game is still going on, it’s late, 2nd OT and I’m not watching it. I just wish playoff post season started about a month early.
Heading to 3OT in Chi, Pekka Rinne sounds like a kind of cheese.
Brent Seabrook for the win.
More Overtimes I see.... 2 of those games last night were OTs.
I see the Senators finally got one over on the Habs. Ottawa wins 1-0.;
Jets are looking at the broom, 2 of the prior games went to OT, the other game they lost in the last 20 seconds. Congrats Ducks and Ducks fans if they win tonight.
Nashville looks like they will stay in this series, leading 4-1 in the 3rd period, so it will be Blackhawks, 3 games, Nashville 2 games.
Looks like in the 2nd period, Vancouver has drawn even with the Calgary Flames.
Big news for Stars fans, Ralph Strangis is leaving as their play-by-play man. He’s been there since they moved from Minnesota. It won’t be the same, hopefully Razor won’t got anywhere.
Ottawa is making it interesting.
So long to the Pens.
Too many important defensemen injured and not enough offensive scoring.
I wonder what is wrong with Malkin. He clearly is injured. Guess we will find out now that our season is over.
Looking back at the pre-season trades (Orpik, Niskannen) and the in-season trades (Depres, Bortuzzo) and then having Letang, Maatta and Ehrhoff get hurt, it’s no wonder we finished like we did.
Sucks. Really sucks.
From the Caps vs. Isle's game 5.
I'm still trying to figure out what in the world is going on here. I know the Caps Michael Latta is a bit nuts, but WTH?????
Nassau Coliseum is about to explode !!!
Win or lose, I expect complete mayhem.
If you are going to the game, stay safe my FRiend.
BTW, Go Caps !!!!
I recall the Dynasty and was in the Coliseum when Bobby Nystrom scored in OT against the Philadelphia Flyers. There was a moment of silence after the red light came on and then the stadium exploded! The Isles have a long history of winning games when their backs are up against the wall. I hope they keep the momentum and tradition going when they return to DC.
