They didn’t give up their first earned run until 32 innings.

Another day, another Ranger pitcher goes down, this time Derek Holland.
The Rangers are truly cursed.

Yeah they did hit plenty but Tiger defense was pretty good against a good team.
The White Sox haven’t won yet.

The Tigers lost both Scherzer and Porcello and Verlander is on the 15 day DL but they’re getting it done.

You are right about Ruth, hasn’t been one close to him ever.
You know who is really not doing great right now?
The Chicago White Sox.
Obama’s team.

Pitchers is poosies...Buster Poosie's not a pitcher. He's a catcher. The DH is for Little League....
To: dfwgator
Kansas has won the 3 that they’ve played. They’re currently up 1 over the Angels in the top of the 3rd.

I picked him up yesterday for the start and thought he was a lock for a win or at least a good start.
Shoulder tightness took him out in the 1st inning.

I do recall the Dodgers of that era occasionally using Don Drysdale as a PH.

Madison Bumgarner— 2 Grand Salamis last year. At least one pitcher can hit....

Whenever I sit down to have a pitcher of beer, I need two pitchers. One is the relief pitcher.

He’s out for at least two months....and that’s probably being optimistic.

I do recall the Dodgers of that era occasionally using Don Drysdale as a PH.Drysdale was the best hitting pitcher of his era. I remember the year he hit 7 home runs and in a critical game the manager put Drysdale in as a PH. He got the hit of course. Glory Days for me as a young female teenager in LA.

Farmers insurance guy (JK Simmons) threw out the first pitch of the season in Detroit. It was a slow pitch but it was across the plate with no bounce.
