It can get you killed.
But even if you’ve just had an altercation with police if you’re running away unarmed, shooting you in the back is a bloody crime. It should NEVER happen!

And if the officer knew him to be unarmed, why didn't the lazy SOB chase the suspect? It's not like the guy was running that fast or would have had the stamina to get too far.
