I appreciate the symbolism of the $500K plus donated to Memories Pizza via crowd funding. It is a lovely visual to the intolerant left that We the People still value freedom. However, I would also like to help Memories by sending pizzas to local charities since Breitbart has announced that they will courageously reopen. I ask FReepers instead of doing an inner webs search because I know of charities in my own hometown that may advertise their good services, but what they actually do with donations is questionable. I'd like to send the pizzas to an honest group. Also . . .
In this case, call law enforcement and have them removed. The locals should be well aware of the events and prepare for it. Trespass is trespass no matter the political reason behind it.
I was thinking about this also. Hope the Memories people have a good relationship with the local cops. Maybe send pizzas to the squad room @ the local PD and tell them the rest of us out here would appreciate them looking in the fine people @ Memories from time to time over the next few days and weeks.
Then order a ton of fried pork from a local Chinese place for the Maoist bitch reporterette and have it delivered to the tv station where she works.
thats right I sense tat there will BE no NO “Gay” “rights” “matter” Foodless Brunches....In town anytime soon
Looks like a total of around 3,500 people in the township with 4 churches in Walkerton.
Adam Smith, who made an ass out of himself at Chick Fil A, is still unemployed. Maybe somebody will make a useful idiot out of him, and give him a job as an agitator, to go to this pizza place, and tell them they have a horrible company with horrible values. And put it all on TV for us to see.
sarcasm.
they cant take pizza orders because of spoof orders
nice try
Anybody know if the girls athletic coach, who went on Twitter inviting people to join her in burning the pizza place down, is going to be in legal trouble???
I sure hope she is prosecuted for inciting a riot, by putting this crap on the internet. But I have my doubts in this politically correct world, if she will be.
Even if I pay on the phone with credit card?
The sheriff has turned the evidence against the coach etc over to the DA office. IIRC this is Saint Joseph County where democrats forged the names of bot BHO and HRC on the documents needed to qualify them to be put on the ballot (2008). Rats were sent to prison
I’m sure local police, sheriffs staff or state police would all appreciate pizza days ( remember the night crew)
They have had to work overtime because of the lavender mafia
I read she’s been suspended, but who knows what that means in this day and age.
Pretty sure that they’d be fools to accept any phone orders for a time. I’m not in the area, else I’d volunteer to act as a delivery driver. Easy targets for pie donations could include local pet shelters, scout troops, police and fire. Just need someone local to go in and pay for it and deliver. Preferably in cash, as I bet that the next angle of attack is their card processor.
Marino should be fired.
I admit that I am weak in knowledge of Scripture, but, isn’t there something in Scripture, to the effect that, if you stand firm for your beliefs in the face of adversity, that the Lord will provide for you?
In this case, the pizza place is shut down, but the outpouring of support from around the country is going to see this family through this rough situation they are in, in which they can’t operate their business normally.
I sometimes wonder if the unseen hand of God is at work in some situations. Remember Chick Fil A and how it was to be a target of boycotts? Chick Fil A is doing better financially than ever before.
I haven’t heard a “peep” about her since the episode was exposed.
given thats shes exempt by “virtue” of DIVERSITY...there has been no swift action taken to hold her accountable or even to reprimand her.
THAT is as troubling as anything about this situation.
While I note the comments downthread that the business isn’t taking phone orders for now (and rightly so), sending the occasional pizza to police, firefighters and other emergency service people in your own hometown is a good idea. When only the “bad actors” seem to get the press, little things like that remind the good guys and girls that the community cares about them.
Memories Pizza is not far from Notre Dame University. If it reopens in the fall, football fans ought to go there for their post-game parties.
If you’re in northern Indiana and want to eat pizza or pasta and at the same time support religious liberty, you can also visit Bourbon Street Pizza in Mentone, North Webster, Nappanee and Plymouth. These are owned by Tim Harman, a legislator who supported RFRA.
Isn’t Notre Dame far too leftist for that?
