Fresno got a good rain a couple of days ago; we are south of Fresno and all we got was a few sprinkles.

There is a watering rule here ... if it rains you cannot do outdoor watering for 48 hours. That can be tough. If your watering days are Wednesday and Sunday and it rains on Saturday you cannot water again until Wednesday.

So far, they have not issued rules for us with our own wells but we are expecting them to start metering the amount of water we pump out of the ground. I think the farmers will be exempt from this for now.

Wish California would build dams and reservoirs instead of that damn train that is costing us billions so Diane Feinstein’s husband can get richer.

We need some honest politicians. Ooops ... I’m preaching again. :)

Preach on,Sistah!

Our strict water rules mighty be lifted lifted soon after a 4-year drought. The first year, we could only water once a week...by HAND...after 6pm and before midnight. My hubby would take the back yard and I would take the front and we’d use hand-held sprayers and go over every square inch. It was very depressing.

Now we have the same as you...2 days a week all day unlimited but our lakes have filled because we’ve gotten some rain [praise the LORD!] and hopefully we’ll be back to normal soon. The councils are meeting for discussion.

I pray that your drought doesn’t last this long...and that stupid fish habiat becomes so over-populated that they have to kill some of them! LOL!
