A baseball bat? There would've been nothing left of him. He's practically half-cadaver as it is.

If he was hit that hard with a bat his head would have been laying in the street. I go with the assumption of PJ-comix that it was a six year old girl.

The Vegas mob was my first thought. As Rush said, it wasn’t exercise equipment, unless someone repeatedly threw Reid into the equipment.

Even considering his age, those bruises are very deep which is why they are taking a long time to heal. Suspicious.
