It sounds like these ants will not be as easy to mash under your thumb as the real ones.
I’m not sure I want improved ants around. The unimproved ones are bad enough.

The artificial butterflies, with wingspans of around 20 inches, could be used in ways similar to small aerial drones. I like looking at pretty butterflies but a wingspan of 20 inches would scare the crap out of me, especially if lots of them flew at me. Might be nice to have some to scare away crows, activated automatically by computers.
