Never had the nerve to try menudo, can’t get past what it is. My grandparents wouldn’t have cared, they were farmers, practical Depression-era people. Me, I can’t bring myself to eat it. Spoiled by suburban upbringing, I guess.

I thought Menudo was a Mexican boy-band.

I use to eat pretty much EVERYTHING. Part of the job. Didn't always mean I wanted a full helping. But I at least tried it. If other people eat it, it ain't gonna kill me.

These days, being sick on top of everything else, I'm pretty picky about what I eat because I just mechanically can't eat some stuff.

I loved the Chick-Fil-A regular sandwich, but I can't eat them now.

The more "authentic" Mexican food you can find in immigrant neighborhoods is shall we say probably NOT to an American's tastes.

Menudo, usually made with tripe.

Beef tongue tacos.

"Face meat" burritos. "Boop, you haven't lived until you've had tacos de cabeza!"

Gross. No thank you.
