Evolution at work.
failed to remain in his lane”?!
...skateboarders have their own lane?
Well. gee whiz....I at least hope that he got his run in on as part of that “California. Come Find Yourself Here” commercial campaign. California seems so exciting and vicarious in them.
I imagine they were videoing the action themselves.
I see it has evolved into a skateboarder.. Early reports were that it was a luge downhill on wheels, which much more fits with striking the under carriage.
One of my sons likes to longboard. He came screaming into our driveway last night in the rain but didn’t know there were three additional parked cars. He got a quick lesson in gravity and hydrogen peroxide.
Did the skateboarder have a couple of GoPro’s going ?
Skateboarder,20 Killed by Stupidity
Heheh. Skateboarding is not a crime. The motor vehicle code does include some good suggestions for staying alive on the highways...even if gravity is your motive power.
I’m all for freedom and personal responsibility, but laws are put in place to help keep people from doing dumb things that can harm themselves or others. Imagine driving down this road and seeing a skateboarder out of control in YOUR lane - what might you reflexively do to avoid a collision?
I didn’t hear that this was illegal, but it should be. And the penalties should be steep, since common sense does not seem to be common.
I need a second cup of coffee... I just saw “Skateboarder killed by Donald Trump”
I guess this guy’s GoPro had some ‘exciting’ footage on it.
To me, it really doesn’t come down to a matter of the level of ‘repose’ of the ride. It is a matter of physics coupled with Darwin.
It was a trump duck.
It is NOT something to do on US roads where there may be traffic!
At least he died doing something he loved! (it’s sarcasm folks) I’m gonna go with Darwin at work, on less pool polluter.
Darwin Award Nominee!!! Lol!
Hang gliding is safer.
