HAPPY LAST DAY OF WINTER!!!!!!!!
Last week I sent out a shout-out to Rose, from Freeper-land, letting her know that we have kept a thread going. I have no clue if she or Quinn ever saw the thread or were aware of it’s existance. Also, I want to be clear that she wouldn’t know me from Adam. I have never met her. But, she is a gracious, kind woman who has responded to my e-mails several times. I know she tries to respond to fans. Anyway, here is the response I got from her:
Hi Kathy! I have such fond memories of the “freepers”!!!
you guys rock.
We do have some great news coming up;
I am helping jim build a studio in his house
I’ve designed an app for him
and
I have been working on getting the website ready
Jim will be doing a web show ( I was going to do it with him but I am pursuing something else)
We are hoping to get him up and running April 1st! No april fools joke!!

I am disappointed that she won’t be on the show with him. I hope she is on the show occasionally. She compliments him perfectly or, maybe I should say, she keeps him in check! :-))
I check every day.
I have been LONGING for spring this year! I have to get my onion sets and get them in the ground soon - that is, if I can get a shovel down in to in!
Awwww...no Rose. Maybe later.

It’s the first day of Spring and we have a snow shower happening here! According to Joe Bastardi’s last weekend update more “cold” thru April. Remember today is also a Supermoon and a BloodMoon event in addition to the Spring Solstice....wonder what will be attributed to that?
Great to hear Quinn for a few minutes the other day.

At this point, for sake of Country, I would be rooting for the glacier to cover the blue North east...but that just me!!!
My thoughts...our “little” Robert Morris University (nickname, the Colonials see a pattern forming here?!?) could bust EVERY BRACKET in the nation. Civil unrest would start (Durham NC) and spread...companies would lose no more time to employees March Madness. Productivity would soar! THE Yinzer Colonials could start the next American Revolution!!!

How great that she responded to you. It is disapppointing that she won’t be on the show, but it’s nice that she’s still involved.

There is a FR Joe Bastardi WeatherBell Saturday thread. He gives a ten day forecast and comments on weather trends. He is vehemently anti AGW, and refutes the claims of the Warmists with actual historical weather data and science. He’s is a hoot on Twitter.

I’m curious as to what Rose is pursuing. Here’s to hoping she will visit. I also wonder if he is able to pay her - they may need to wait to see if the show takes off & money comes in before she can be a bigger part.
OMG! Just got to work! I’m glad we left early. Heavy, wet snow! About two inches on the ground. Our roads not plowed, so I’m glad we have four wheel drive. This does NOT feel like the first day of spring!
Thanks. Curious what he has to say about the latest claim that this winter was the “warmest on record.”
If it’s any consolation, March 20, 1971 was the last snowfall of the season. I remember it well ‘cause it’s the date of our anniversary! Maybe this will be the last of it for this year, too.
