I can’t imagine she could stand to be told what to do by the protocol officers, even in the gentlest way possible. She thinks that she knows best, about everything, so she probably doesn’t even get advised by them anymore.

Yes I know, but you’d think someone would have
suggested wearing flats.

“Why is she wearing curtains,” you ask? Coz’ she saw “Gone with the Wind” and thought it was a hell of an idea.

Maybe they did, and have in the past. MO doesn’t seem to accept anything approaching criticism very well.

She looks taller than 5’9”, and not just because of these pics. She’s always seemed taller than that to me.

I bet the last person that made a helpful suggestion like that isn’t working at the White House anymore.

How I miss the days when we had a pretty, GRACEFUL First Lady in Laura Bush. (sigh)

I don’t know, I feel kind of sorry for them.
I mean, could you imagine being the person responsible for dressing that thing and trying making it look good at the same time?

There is a very compelling youtube feature on the possibility that Mrs Obama is a man.

Caused embarrassment earlier in the day when she grabbed Akie Abe, wife of Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, in a hug-and-handshake combination.

When you look at the Japanese women, it's quite a contrast in styles. The Empress is wearing a subtle toned down black and gray outfit. The PM's wife is wearing a nice cream/off-white solid suit.
And The First Lady of The United States of America, representing our nation overseas, is dressed like a clown.
They've embarrassed us so many ways over the years, I should have developed some sort of immunity or tolerance by now. But I haven't.

She’s gotta be 2-3 inches taller than that.
