According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Eagles coach Chip Kelly has just turned his own personal dont-give-a-damn meter to 11, bringing quarterback Tim Tebow in for a workout.
Hes just messing with us at this point.
The idea of Tebow and Mark Sanchez together again is almost too perfect to put into words. Kelly carries himself with a smartest-guy-in-the-room vibe anyway, but bringing in a guy the rest of the NFL had given up on speaks to a bit of hubris.
Could Tebow run the Eagles system, considering his roots running a spread offense at Florida? Sure. Maybe. Who knows?

Tebow spent two years working with Brady’s throwing coach to work on his weak throwing.
I love Tebow. He was a great college QB, but he will never be an NFL Franchise QB. His mechanics are terrible, and his ability to read defenses sucks. I think he can be a good FB or TE, but he will never be a starting QB.
Well they gave up a lot for Bradford. Only time will tell if he can remain healthy.
Tebow CURE Hospital opens in Philippines Michael F. Haverluck (OneNewsNow.com) Friday, December 19, 2014
Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow recently opened the doors of the Tebow CURE Hospital in the Philippines the same country where doctors told his mother 27 years ago that he should be aborted if she wanted to live.

Pats fan here. I was rooting for Tim when they gave him a preseason tryout. He was terrible, at least for a team that used a drop back offense. Slow reads, inaccurate. I was rooting for him, but he wasn’t up to the job. Good luck to him on this next try.
I would love to see Tebow as an Eagle following McNabb ( who I liked), Vick (well I’ll be dog-gone), and whoever is there now.
Also, it would raise the value of my Tebow cards. Philadelphia could use a new citizen with decent personal values. Might set an example to the get unwashed but heavily armed low-information drugged up masses.
Eagles just got DeMarco Murray.
Tebow totally sucked. All he was ever able to do well was win games, be a natural team leader, and electrify Denver./
I admire his tenacity, but Tim Tebow ought to at least have a backup plan to play another position. I think he'd already be celebrated as a monstrously successful Outside Linebacker if he'd played that position instead of QB. Maybe he can't do anything else but play Quarterback.
On the other hand, I saw Tebow's 2012 post-season victory against the Steelers in the legendary '3:16 Game' which sent every Tim Tebow detractor crawling back under their rocks in utter abject humiliation. Certainly the most amazing performance I've been witness to in all of professional football.
Skepticism OK, but I’m more optimistic. He has the desire & drive to succeed in the NFL, particularly as part of a hurry-up, read/option offense.
Which band member is Tebow replacing?
Exactly!
Go Tebow!
That Denver team was blessed with a great defense that was able to hold on when the offense wasn’t doing squat. Denver won games that year in spite of their crappy offense. It happens some times, but there is now way to sustain winning that way in the era of Free Agency. Tebow played well late in a few games, but his performance up to those few points was terrible. Again I love Tebow, and I hope he proves me wrong. I stick with my assessment that he will not be an NFL starting QB.
I admire Tim, wish him the best.
Drop back QB?
Don’t think so but him in the backfield w/ a QB, fading out behind the line. QB laterals to Tim, Tim can run, or pass.
Basically the halfback pass with a pretty good passer and brutal runner.
I think some really effective plays could be built around that concept.
Perhaps they used that phrase in the title because Tebow is a Christian, but I find it borderline blasphemous. The only other context I’ve heard that phrase is in connection with Easter and the proper response is, “He is risen indeed!”
I think he would be a very good TE in the Jason Witten mold.
Must be.
I think he can be a good FB or TE, but he will never be a starting QB.
...
He’s already been a starting QB, with a winning record and a big playoff win against a 12-4 team.
