Tim Tebow finally knows how to throw spiral, but he won't get to show off his new skill at the NFL's first-ever veteran combine on March 22 -- because he wasn't invited.
The NFL released a list of players who have been invited to the combine on Wednesday and Tebow's name was nowhere to be found ...
Although Tebow won't be in attendance at the combine, Michael Sam will be there ...

I often wondered why Jacksonville didn't take a chance with Tebow. Hometown boy and all, he'd at least put butts in seats. And it's not like the Jags could suck any worse.
Not me, I haven’t watched a complete NFL girlies game for over 20 years. I finally grew up and learned how much of my life was wasted in front of the TV on Sunday afternoons.
Besides, a scumbag bought the Cowboys.
Your NFL is gay. All 60 genders will be fully represented within 10 years of now. Play 60 man, that’s what it’s all about!
Tim’s a fine fellow, but the consensus is he’s deficient in the passing game. That seems to be what the NFL is totally about these days.
I always thought he’d make a good tight end, but perhaps he’s happy making money at ESPN and not getting maimed. I also think he would be a very good coach, so perhaps he will take the Harbaugh brothers route someday.
I looked at the list and a name jumped out at me...
MIKE GOLIC
I thought, “WHAT????????????”
He is over 50 years old....
Then I find it is MIKE GOLIC JR.....They left off the Jr. on the list....
Why does anyone watch the nfl? You get the same from your local nightly news for a lot cheaper.
Regardless of talent level or potential, i just don’t believe any GM or coach wants the burden that comes with signing Tebow. He’s a headache for the coach as the movement starts on day one to let him play. Also jobs are on the line if it doesn’t work...which is the likely outcome.
He probably should have a place as a backup or 3rd string. The situation doesn’t allow it. When we went to camp with the patriots I thought that might be just what he needed. No fan of NE, but Belichek knows football and coaching. That he got cut unceremoniously and never resigned anywhere tells me Bill didn’t see much potential and probably relayed that quietly to anyone who asked.
You just can’t undue stupid
You are correct sir. He has other things going on too. I have seen his Tebow Cure Hospital in Davao City.
And didn’t he take them to the play-offs on his first and only season with the Broncos?
Great! I had not heard that.
I am a bit confused by this “veterans combine”. In order to be a veteran of something you have to have actually particated. I would not consider not making any team roster to being a veteran of the NFL.
He’s definitely a scumbag.
They could have at least let him showed his skills I think he has at least earned that.
I have spent at least 30 years watching sports. It all seemed important at the time. I did enjoy most of it but I wonder how much of sports is an illusion. I do not think it is choreographed or that people sit around and try to direct the outcomes of games. The games are influenced by betting and individual athletes may be easily influenced by gamblers. Some athletes are promoted over other athletes in the media. It is interesting that the President of the United States was filling out brackets for the NCAA tournament a few years ago. The President takes so much time to play golf. The officials at sporting events have become such a big part of the sport - even in golf and basketball. I do not know to what extent I was watching a competition or to what extent I was watching an long advertisement that is interrupted by a series of shorter advertisements. I suppose it is not really lost time because I probably would have spent my time on some other non-productive activity anyway.
He was a huge draw in Denver.

How could one tell?
The Denver Broncos have sold out their home games 325 times in a row (every game since 1970). That data was as of March 2012 (after Tebow had come and gone).
I like Tebow as a person really well. But a pretty good argument can be made that it was Denver’s defense that took them to the play-offs that year. And once they got against a team where they had to score more than 9 points they were not able to get it done.
