Still, Mr. Lane underscored the advantage Mr. Cruz has with some evangelicals. Asked about the Texas senators faith, he responded, Cruz is obviously born again and goes to First Baptist Houston.
How'd that work out for the country?
Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Hillary Clinton and probably many other wretches claim to be born again when they’re running for office. Means nothing.
Seriously you compare a man’s relationship with God or the lack of it, or being a cult member or atheist or Muslim with bourbon and car preferences or their favorite sports teams?
I don’t know if they claimed it or not, but it means something when Palin and Cruz say it.
The fact the he doesn’t hate the country isn’t good enough for you?
I’m a one issue voter - anyone who does not believe our liberties descended from the God of Abraham will never have my vote.
Who cares?
The conservative base of America cares, remember that conservatism in America is almost entirely Christian, and the strongest Christians at that.
Right. We know their backgrounds and who they are friends with. Given the background and statements of Cruz, why would someone ask the question? For Hillary, the question would just be from someone wanting to give her an opportunity for friendly spin. Nobody who pays attention would be fooled.
Like Jimmy Carter or The Huckster...?
No thanks.
Gotta be one to know one.........
Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
I NEVER heard ANY of those people claim to be born again.
Amen
Most people who are anti-Christian as you are, are members of the left.

It’s important because being saved, according to the Word of God, gives one a proper “worldview” in order to the make better decisions in light of that correct worldview.
I want a saved person, who is saved according to the word of God.
We could go into a lot more depth here, but that is the simple and short version ... :-) ...
-— I NEVER heard ANY of those people claim to be born again -—
If they’re baptized, they’re born again of water and the Spirit.
Being saved, according to the Word of God is not a “cult” ... it is life or death and affects one’s entire worldview.
“Chance” is the operative word.
If you don’t want to dig into a person’s philosophies, if just a simple identifier is good for you, so be it. It’s not for me. I’ve been screwed in business by “born again christians.” What was it the Emo said about forgiveness?
Those other things don’t affect “life or death” or one’s eternal destiny and also they don’t relate to one having the correct “worldview” in order to make better decisions.
No it isn’t, why are you so annoyed at his faith and the Christians who actually make up conservatism, being interested in his faith?
Most mockers of Christians are of the left, of course a few of you vote republican, but you tend to make up the rino wing of the GOP.
