Just realized you said you couldn’t do this through your personal equipment.

You could but, from a liability and control viewpoint, it’s best if the corporation provides those tools.

I’ve done it twice in the last 12 years but, one company had a requirement that we provide our own cell and laptops. Another couldn’t figure out how to make Citrix work on their laptops, so I installed my own copy and it worked fine.

Besides, I hate managers and I loathe their unreasonable demands,like turning in reports on time.

I was the only one turning them in complete and on time and it gave him the opportunity to beat on someone else.

It is a corporate decision to watch the security of allowing personal systems to work on or retrieve from secure facilities. My division doesn’t, but the company does do important work that has to be secured, without a doubt. The required security goes across all divisions of our company. It’s a pain to access systems, email, etc from even a company computer entering from a personal network.

I’m no Hillary fan at all, I don’t buy into her story in the slightest bit and I think she is liar extraordinaire, but I think we should get the story straight before attacking it.
