Had my own dead tree problem, but no beavers - just a lazy landlord who wouldn’t remove a dead tree that was positioned to fall on the house I was living in. After numerous ignored attempts to get the situation fixed, I got another house.
I can relate. I’ve been on night duty during snow/ice/sleet storms and have seen some crazy stuff with trees. I’ve convinced my wife with my stories that there will never be a tree tall or close enough to hit any house we live in...ever.
