We like that old books are available for very little money, or even free. Books by Henty are about $20 each, my boys got the entire collection (dozens of books) for I think $1.50. My daughter got the entire Elsie Dinsmore series for free. The library doesn’t have these books available and they are by far better than any current childrens or young adult literature.

Reading an entire book off a screen is hard for me, but you can find better literature there than a book store or library.

Thrift stores are a great place to find books cheap. It's a well-kept secret, don't tell anybody.

I cannot read a normal book without glasses. The ability to make the print larger has been responsible for me lie sure reading comeback.

Getting old sucks.

The Henty’s are fine, but Elsie Dinsmore just left me cold. How to train a daughter to put up with abuse and neglect.
