One of the Jane Doe witnesses in the 2005 sexual assault lawsuit against comedian Bill Cosby has come forward to share her story for the first time. Patricia, who is not releasing her last name, spoke to BuzzFeed News for an article published Tuesday about her alleged assault at Cosby's hands in 1978.
Patricia told the website that she met Cosby while she was a 22-year-old conference planner at the University of Massachusetts, which had invited the comedian as a featured speaker for an event. Upon learning she was a singer, Cosby allegedly offered to mentor her.
Cosby invited her to his home in Shelburne Falls, Mass., for a dinner party, she said, but when she arrived, she was the only guest. She said that Cosby gave her a mixed drink and asked her to act out various scenarios, including one in which she pretended "to be a queen with oatmeal on her face."

An incident from 1978 being addressed in 2005 and then discussed in 2015.
Remember when the press gave Roman Polanski a pass?
Remember when the press gave Bill Clinton a pass?
Liberals will defend someone of charges of rape rape. So what really is at play here?
If that's all they have, they shouldn't be making accusations at any time, much less 40 years later.
But you see, it’s not about guilt or innocence, but the SERIOUSNESS OF THE ACCUSATIONS...
Yup , that’s pretty much it .
If that’s all they have, they shouldn’t be making accusations at any time, much less 40 years later.
I see what you mean.. The guys that are drugging women or girls for sex or whatever will love you’re comment..
Just SHUT UP... and get on with your life..
and try to stay away from the bastards that do this..
I get what you say.. it’s only sex.. you’re NOT HURT...
I’m wondering who you really are.... and what you are up to..
Yeah, more than 30 accusations to date, covering a period of five decades, by women from different cities and states, and ranging in ages from their mid 20s to their mid 70s, this is probably just a little conspiracy.
I ascribe altruistic motives to the accusers / alleged victims. Virtually all of them have nothing to gain monetarily. There are too many and the timeline is too long for it to be a political dirty trick as you seem to imply. That leaves altruism as the most likely motive. Before you discount altruism, why do people participate in FR? FR has been going on since 1997 (not including its Usenet predecessor). Now it is 2015. Perhaps we are all being paid off by the Koch brothers. For 18+ years. What really is at play with FR?
I am not defending Bill or attacking the women who are bringing up and continuing their charges.
The liberal establishment (politicians and media mouthpieces) defending Bill Clinton and Roman Polanski from equally vile charges.
If NOW can defend Bill Clinton on rape charges because he supports abortion, then feminists can go to hell.
What does that mean? That's a question I find myself asking more and more in relation to Cosby...
Women say they have been assaulted by Cosby. Some have immediately contacted the police. Because of this, they have a great deal of credibility. Others come forward many years later. They do not have the same credibility; they are not the same. That's a fact. I'm not judging any of them; they are saying what they feel they must.
Many of their self-appointed 'advocates' can't seem to make a point without making a hash of logic and law...and as a last resort, accusing those not on board the lynching of being in favor of rape...that if one doesn't automatically believe all the accusers, then one is accusing them all of lying. They (you) deserve to be judged very harshly.
If there's a legal case to be made, it will be made...there are too many ambitious prosecutors for it to be otherwise. What happens, happens...but so far, it hasn't.
In the court of public opinion, he's pretty much convicted. I wouldn't want my wife or daughter alone with him.
Again...is he a serial rapist? I'm convinced. Is he automatically guilty of everything he's accused of? No, that doesn't follow.
I responded to a poster who made a case that accusers didn't come forward at the time because they really couldn't say what happened. I pointed out that the passage of time didn't make that case any stronger. So that makes you wonder what I'm up to...
So I do not find your hash of logic persuasive. Not all the accusers are the same, and to say one has credibility does not say all do...and to question the credibility of one is not to question the credibility of all.
If the only option you choose to pursue is questioning my motivation, then you have no case at all.
Exactly.
Is that all you have? Why would a conspiracy be necessary? What are you trying to say?
If you want to assume he's automatically guilty of everything he's been accused of, go for it. That would be stunningly naive (at best) but this is America...you are free to do so.
Besides, he deserves it anyway, right?
How about when you drug and rape a woman in 2004, she files a police report in 2005, and brings forth 13 other victim Jane Does, and you settle out of court with her in 2006? Did you read the article?
Yeah, more than 30 accusations to date, covering a period of five decades, by women from different cities and states, and ranging in ages from their mid 20s to their mid 70s, and you are absolutely sure that they are all lying.
To you this is all a bizarre and vast, and long running conspiracy.
There you go again...if you're reading to understand, it's there...if you're reading to argue, there's no point in what I have to say.
You are the person saying all or nothing...one or the other. I disagree.
To you this is all a bizarre and vast, and long running conspiracy.
Your words and mindset, not mine.
You are not rational on this subject. There's no point trying to communicate.
LOL, you are another one that is pretending that the problem is how many of the dozens did he actually drug, rape and sexually assault, not that the number is assuredly one or more.
