Now that is scary.
I don’t feel Capricorn was properly represented... we’re not water, we’re earth, craggy cliff dwellers who go into the water only when necessary to help our Pisces, Cancer and Scorpio friends out. Our ancient symbol is Mountain Goat with a fish tail.
Indeed.
I much prefer Frazetta’s sense of potential.
Even in a “posed” painting, there are things in the background that convey the feeling that something unseen is imminent.
It gave his paintings the quality of freezing a moment in time, by no means limited to what we were seeing right *then*.
I really like that.
His are more gritty and underworked, compared to Vallejo’s fussiness.
:)
Capricorn has to be the most “WTH were they thinking?” symbol.
Not sure what possessed people to stick a goat’s head on a fish.
At the very least, negotiating craggy cliffs with a fish tail would be very inconvenient.
;D
I do believe that somebody has been playing Warhammer 40000.
Sci-fi ping.
Looks like some 15 year old kid sketching his way through a boring history class. Yawn.
