This is not pornographic, but it's not for everyone either. Discretionary viewer participation is recommended.

I’ve seen so much art that looks the same. Really not original at all.

I just can’t get into this digital medium look. Obvious and special talent, and I’m not saying manipulating digital art effects don’t take a tremendous amount of skill. But when I look at a Frazetta or a Jeff Jones the digital medium stuff loses every time. As far as I know Frazetta never got a chance to mess around with any digital medium, it would have been interesting to see what he would do with it.

That’s one of the problems, the digital medium techniques generally don’t seem to be affected by the individualism of the artist as much as other mediums. Maybe that’s just me. And of course there are exceptions where there is a lot of unique style.

I take it his name is a play on the brothers Hildebrandt?

“But when I look at a Frazetta.....”
My first impression. Poor Frazetta clone.

You know, I'm taking a second look at this and it's really pretty good. So, I'm taking my first opinion back. But as for Frazetta...well, what can you say. He's fabulous.

Vallejo did a *lot* of snakes and though I like his work [especially prior to Julie showing up] his stuff always seems more posed and polished.
Frazetta was *never* static.
