The excuse I heard for taking down the page is that he is under age. Presumably, you have to be a certain age — 18? — to have a Facebook page. But seems to me there are plenty of Facebook pages by young kids. Maybe the pages were set up with the consent of parents or guardians, but I doubt it.

I think I still have a Facebook page out there somewhere, but I don't use it. One less Big Brother intrusion into my life.

I don't agree with what Facebook did, but it's their site. It's no different than if Jim Robinson says he won't allow a pro-Obama Lib to post sophistries here.
