What’s going on with this mugshot?

Ashley Stabler, 23, was detained by police after allegedly driving without insurance or proper plates and having a suspended licence.

But we don’t know why her mouth is opened wide like that – though we do have a few suggestions:

1. She was at a new state-of-the-art prison/dentist combo facility, and was asked to say ‘ah’

2. She’s playing charades and describing the film Scream

3. She and one of the officers are taking turns throwing sweets into each other’s mouths

4. She’s singing Puccini’s Nessun Dorma

5. Her mother is saying ‘Here comes the choo-choo train!’ and spoon-feeding her.

The case against Stabler was later dismissed.
