I hate texting. I hate the way it restricts me. It's great that I can stay in touch while on the road, but it's a pain in the butt.
I can't reference my thoughts with links that would generally be a few "copy and paste" clicks away.
I can't stand the screen size of my "Smart Phone" and I have one of the largest available.
I hate using the pop up key board that tries to "Help" me.
Ever try to search for and paste a link to something that wasn't already planned for?
Good luck.
I love my PC.
I love that I have the ability to capture information and relay it in seconds. Information that may or may not be stored on my machine. A quick search and a few clicks and I can send it to you without jumping through smart phone hoops.
I hate Texting.
I hate BRB, and all the others that are making people lazy when trying to express themselves.
WTF !!
It's the death of us, the death of our language and the meaning of words in their proper context.
Touch screen convenience at it's best?".
Short cuts designed to "Help" us get our message across have made so many miss the message all together.
I hate Texting.
Me too...
Just call me!
It’s a tool. Use it or don’t use it

I never text. One less problem for me.

Jenny, I got your number.
I am in complete, unequivocal agreement with you!
LAMO! STBY B4N
I think that was “606 0842”
No wait, that was the B-52’s
Don’t worry. The FCC is working on a “fix” for your problem
I wouldn’t be getting laid tonight IF not for TXTING, I gotta love this TECHNOLOGY, but I usually wonder (when I Sober up), Is this Progress?
Voice texting is the way to go. I-phone.... select message, use the microphone next to the space button at the bottom to speak who to send text to... and to speak the text. It doesn’t get much easier.
I refuse to text. Besides, there’s nobody I’d want to send a text to anyway. Anybody of importance in my life, I talk to on the phone or in person.
Talk to text is even worse!
I find texting better for me (and I’m 68). With a phone call you have to spend time saying hello, how are you, etc. and after your conversation you have to go through a closing ritual similar to the opening of the phone call.
With texting you get right to the meat of the call ... no opening, no closing, just the message. Works for me.
Mount a key for CW on the dashboard or console then (Morse Code).

I have a serious question.
Does that “Flip Phone” still work?
If I still had my “Bag phone” from the early 1990’s would it still work?
So don’t do it.
