Ft. Lauderdale, FL A video uploaded to YouTube on Sunday shows Fort Lauderdale police officer Victor Ramirez harassing and assaulting an elderly gentleman at the Broward Bus Terminal in downtown Fort Lauderdale. The man is not being aggressive or threatening in any way when he is shoved to the ground and slapped by the officer. The man was reportedly trying to use the bus terminals restroom.
The guy didnt raise his hand to the officer at all, a witness told Local 10 News. The officer just knocked him down with his hands. The guy was defenseless.

Did the cop get home safely?
Although how the cop handled the situation was deplorable, it is apparent they’ve dealt with each other before and the old man had been ordered to leave by the cop at some point earlier.
And that gives the cop license to beat an old man down?
In a sane world, the populace would be thanking the cop for keeping the perverts and derelicts away from the men’s restroom.
The good people of Florida should have slapped the blue out of that cop’s hide. I hope the guy he assaulted finds a good attorney so he can use his own seven bathroom mansion after the law suit.
Officer Ramirez is now on a paid vacation while the incident is being investigated.
So the next time you’ve had one too many, a cop may slap you around a bit for trying to relieve yourself in a public restroom.
Congratulations on your standards.
If you watch closely you can see the guy walks away from the cop and the cop following to complete the contact/investigation/whatever.
Then the guy physically pulls away from the cop and started to push the cop. It was then the cop shoved the guy. You me, anyone else wouldn't have fallen. This guy did.
Not the best contact but the shove of the guy was (relatively speaking) minor and clearly not intended to make the guy fall down.
It's what I saw.
Did you miss the word, “deplorable” when I wrote my response?
Doesn’t matter if they’ve crossed paths before. That was in called for. That was outright wrong and the cop should be fired.
No. In a sane world cops would not, for good reasons or bad, feel the need to execute justice or attitude adjustments. They would just calmly enforce law. The courts would execute justice and the punishments would be severe enough that crime rates would be 1/10th or less what they are now.
SO WHAT??? It’s a public restroom, for God’s sake. It is also pretty obvious that this donkey ass of a “cop” is out of control.
Now the old man is a pervert?
Where exactly did you want him to relieve himself. A bus terminal restroom facility seems like a decent choice.
And this man is a pervert or a derelict, that deserves to be slapped hard to the ground? and you know this how?
Got to pee, don’t slap me!!!
How about the slap in the face after he had fallen down?
Yeah, he didn’t mean to slap him hard to the ground either. A complete accident.

No.
