If it didn’t taste like battery acid despite dumping cream and sugar in it, I would. Usually love the aroma of brewing coffee.

I think moderate amounts of coffee is good for you. I’m a bit surprised to see them recommending five cups, but three is certainly reasonable, after breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
And, come to think of it, I drink it from a small mug, so three mugs is probably about five cups, anyway.

We're a little short of the three cups a day optimal, but the balance may be made up...with CHOCOLATE.

FNC Sunday morning .. is a program called “Sunday Housecall” with 2 fairly famous doctors. They have been talking about the coffee (at least 4 cups daily); black, no sugar or cream, for probably a year; or close to it.
So, I was surprised to hear Rush talk about this “new” thing .. we’re supposed to drink coffee.
Weird ..!!!!
However, I have a 5-cup coffee pot and I drink it every morning.

I make and drink one 10 oz cup of coffee (Kerig) each morning.
When we use the old coffee maker, my wife makes 3 or 4 cups and drinks a total of 1
I am not sure which one is the least expensive.

It is disgusting to notice the increase in the quantity of coffee used by my subjects, and the amount of money that goes out of the country as a consequence. Everybody is using coffee; this must be prevented. His Majesty was brought up on beer, and so were both his ancestors and officers. Many battles have been fought and won by soldiers nourished on beer, and the King does not believe that coffee-drinking soldiers can be relied upon to endure hardships in case of another war.

What’s a cup?
I use a 14 oz. mug most days. Used to drink 2.5 of those. Now, I try to keep to 1 - 1.5 mugs a day.

They obviously didn’t poll night shift nurses on how many cups of coffee they drink. They’d have to ask how many pots. And then there’s the sludge factor- how many cups is a cup of sludge from a pot left cooking for hours. There’s some bang for your buck. Or maybe the answer was, “I drink zero cups of coffee during the day. Hehehe.”
