Four out of five women admit they don't shower every day, and a third say they can go for three days without washing their body.
The personal hygiene of Britain's fairer sex - or the lack thereof - has been laid bare in a survey of 2,021 women aged 18 to 50 for skincare range Flint + Flint.
It also found that almost two thirds can't be bothered removing make-up before they go to bed, and one in eight own up to not brushing their teeth before they sleep.

And I bet of the times that they do bath, most of them are during the warmer summer months.
My grandfather thought that bathing was effeminate and made men weak.
My grandmother finally said to him, “Roy, yeah—you’re real strong ... “.
Ewwww! No way this girl ever goes to bed without a shower. Even back in the days of camping in tents, I found a way to bathe even if a shower could not be had.
This is gross.
I have a couple of best man-friends. Their wife’s appearance/skin/validation/selfies are more important than their marriages. I anticipate a few divorces in the future.
What happened to the affectionate woman, even among conservatives?
The reality is that women do not sweat anywhere near as much as men unless they are involved in athletic activities.
“With a glass of champagne nearby, naturally.”
And candles. LOT’S of candles.
Somehow, my stratum corneum has managed to survive many years of daily or even twice-daily showers and baths without noticeable problems. The same fragrant, healthy situation obtains with every woman I know.
A freshly bathed a well scrubbed women smells like soap. I much prefer the smell of that same women after vigorous exercise or work, even after one or two days. Otherwise the human race would have died out many thousands of years ago.
Who are you to believe, Proctor and Gambles or me? :)
Pheromones are good!
What’s the difference between English women and hockey Players? Hockey players shower after the third period.
And candles to give the very best highlights - don't forget the candles.....
It’s England. They have never been accused of being super clean. That is an American thing. We Americans like to be clean.
While this is true, a good question is often “How much is too much?”
What comes to mind are people with psoriasis. While believed to be an autoimmune problem, resulting in too much skin growing too fast, it is often set off just in localized areas, large and small, where there has been skin damage.
So, for example, this raises the direct question, “How does bathing, and too frequent bathing, relate to it?”
You are right but sweating is not a single process in human body producing uncomfortable odors. Some of them are unique to ladies. I believe it’s a must to bath at least twice a day regardless your sex, or probably more often if the environment around demands it. Bathing once in three days is savage. There is no excuse at all if you have water available.
Not sure. Narcissism seems to be a product of our culture.
And there does seem to be a misplaced emphasis on looks. Of course, part of that can be laid at the feet of some men. Just look at some of the comments you see here when a photo of a woman is posted. I don’t know if it is representative of today’s conservative men — and I hope it’s not — but there are an awful lot of comments about the woman’s appearance. Seems like too many men expect a woman to look like what they see on magazine covers.
I wouldn’t take most of those too seriously.
It’s just that the country is in such awful danger it’s good to have a little bit of fun on here also.
At least that’s how I view the whole “not guilty” thing, LOL.
Oh, no, I understand about the guilty/not guilty. Boys will be boys. And I know to walk out of the room when the FReeper guys get going on one of those threads.
I was referring to serious critiques that I have seen, in which, for instance, I have seen women with average sized figures referred to as fat or women of a certain age derided for having wrinkles. We can’t all look like Hollywood starlets or super models.
