Murphy USA is a convenience store and gasoline retailer. It's obvious they are incorporating their gasoline sales in their convenience store sales figures. . . which is not done by any other such retailer. . . Because they don't sell the gasoline inside the convenience store's square footage but out in the gasoline bays which would vastly increase their square footage.
If others did the same, businesses like Rotten Robbie's and Arco Stations would be way up there. They don't "pump" up their store figures the way Murphy seems to be doing with yard sales.
Yeah, a question mark sprang up in my mind when I saw Murphy as #2. Who they? Not around here! Should have checked them out, LOL!
Instead, I marveled at how Apple shut out bauble-sellers such as Tiffany, Michael Kors, Coach, and Movado. Apple sells useful appliances, which are nevertheless every bit as beautiful as the worthless gewgaws of the luxury-goods sellers.
