I guess he should have tried harder to get word to her.

In 2013, a groom was jailed after staging a bomb hoax on his wedding day. We professional counselors know to look for that sort of thing as a sign of a failing relationship.

Yeah what an ass, having an epileptic seizure and not calling. What a douchebag for having an unplanned serious brain problem. Next time maybe he should marry someone who has half an ounce of feeling for him.

I think I misunderstood. She appeared to be angry because he didn’t tell her about his epilepsy.

my fil who is well into his upper 80's said that after WW2 if a guy met a girl he really liked he'd have to move on it really quick, because someone else was always waiting in the wings...thus, if the guy didn't propose marriage pretty quick, the girl was gone on to the next guy.....
imagine after WW2 the GI's home, millions getting married, buying houses, starting civilian jobs, popping out children left and right...
those young people had so much to look forward to in this once great country....
.the positive outlook on life that is so missing today....

There is a saying: ‘to love is nothing; to be loved is something; to love & to be loved is everything’.
In this story, keyword seems to be ‘desperate’.

life is like a box of chocolates. :-) Cram you thumb into the heart of many of them until you find one you can live with.

Even though he had a seizure, he is one lucky guy for finding this out now rather than later.
Imagine being married to someone like that!

Since the Bride’s attitude is “anybody will do” .. I say he should be happy to be rid of her.

Since the Brides attitude is anybody will do .. I say he should be happy to be rid of her. What are the odds that the bride had already been sleeping with the "replacement groom" well before the wedding?

That outlook is reflected in this song:

That may be it. Upscale Hindu weddings go on for several days, and cost tons of money, several costume changes, venues, etc.
Hopefully, there’s something here that we’re not getting; but, Good Grief....
