IF you want to live in a city like Boston, NYC, or DC, and IF you want to park where you want to, then buy or rent that place. A public street - even in front of your home - is fair game legally for anyone to park there. That's what the cops have told me. They also claim that I have an obligation to maintain the sidewalks/landscaping in all of the public space that I don't own that's in front of my house. I have no doubt that the guy who put the snow back will be fined by the police, for obstructing the space that he previously cleared.

No doubt. Its Boston, after all.
A world totally different and opposite the normal place I call home.
God Bless Texas.
