Well, too many of you do take it to the extreme. And I disagree with you about God's intentions - I'd say that God did not intend for people (especially married people) to ogle other people.
But that's not even what this story is about. It's not a criticism of men. I can see that you see it that way, though, and I can see that I'm not going to change your mind.
Well, I think we have common ground. And just because we, as men, find females attractive, as I said in another post, that doesn’t mean we have free license to ogle.
I would not openly do it to a woman because it is disrespectful, both to the woman, and to my wife.
My wife does make me laugh about it, though. Often when we are out walking and a striking woman comes into our field of view, she will squeeze my hand and ask in a somewhat impish tone: “What did you think of THAT?”
When I politely reply with a “What?” she says in a patient (and sometimes faux exasperated tone) “Look, Honey, I married you, but I didn’t scratch your eyes out. However, if you ever DO anything...”
Anyway, you are right. I don’t want to hijack the thread anymore than I already have!
