Alright it appears this is the 40-year review of SNL.
The actual review begins in a bit over a half an hour, but there is a lead-in one-hour segment which is going on now.
I've already seen Sarah Palin interviewed, and her nemesis Tina Fey as well.
Eddie Murphy seems to have a knock-out main squeeze, when he was just interviewed.

Just marking the place.
enemy territory, any way you cut it. I’m sure they wil feature the hatchet job they did on sarah palin.
Just tuned in, man Dave Chapelle is getting old!
Don’t tell me Belushi dies in the end
I think Brian Williams was the brains behind this show and actually wrote, directed, and starred in every episode for the first ten years.
Did you see about 15 minutes ago when they were interviewing Tina Fey and Jim Carey. Carey asked them where they were hiding Brian Williams?! Everyone went silent and Fey turned away from the camera, hopefully in embarrassment?
This thing is going to be on TV for 4 and a half hours tonight!
I normally hate this kind of shows but big fan of SNL, so there should be a lot of interesting moments. Not your usual Hollywood snoozefest. This is LIVE from New York. And I think many of the people there have been drinking heavily already.
I’m a gal and think she always looks awesome! Always a class act and greatly admire her.
If they did a “hatchet job” on Sarah Palin... why is she on the show tonight?? They make fun of politicians. It’s what they do. Mrs. Palin is not a delicate flower that cannot be the object of lampooning. It’s part of being a politician.
well, probably because she’s more of a celebrity these days than a politician. and this is what celebrities do, they do what they have to do to be seen.
and if you don’t realize that what SNL did to her was waaaaay across the line . . . . well, keep watching. perhaps it will jog your memory.
It’s mostly us that are keeping this alive. The rest of the world moved on. SNL has been making fun of presidents and presidential candidates since the first shows in 1975.
Make fun? really?
Ping for later
Chevy Chase on now...did he ever get old! Looks like Clark Griswold’s father!
Palin is on for one reason. If it wasn’t for her, this turn in the punch bowl would have been done with in 2007.
Yes, Chevy looked rough.
I don’t watch fascist programming.
Let me know if they have John Belushi and Gilda Radner live - Ill turn it on for that.
I miss Chris Farley!
