Barely capable of being an NFL QB? That’s pretty funny. But for an absurd call, he’s got 2 SB rings.
You’re correct in your first assertion, delusional in your 2nd. You must be thinking about Kaepernick.
And for the record, my team plays on the east coast.
I assume you mean: But for an "absurd call" on a play in which Russell Wilson himself threw an interception at the goal line at the end of the game ...
His one Super Bowl ring puts him right there with prior Super Bowl luminaries like Mark Rypien, Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer. Did any of those guys even play in the NFL after they won those Super Bowls?
As with the other players I mentioned above, I suspect nobody would have heard of Russell Wilson if he didn't play for a team with a vaunted defense and an All-Pro running back for his entire career. The guy averages about 15 completions per game in postseason play in his three playoff years -- and that's in an era when the NFL rules practically guarantee that a QB can throw for 300 yards in a game whenever he pleases.
Let's see what Russell Wilson plays like when he has to win games with his arm.
