When my cat sleeps on my side of the bed in the corner by my feet, oh, the gymnastics that I go through getting in and out of bed!
Many times I had leg cramps and almost screamed, but managed somehow not to wake up or “disturb” the sleeping angel!
We all are suckers for our beloved pets, or so it seems.

I love cats but I am allergic. Getting cat stuff, like petting a cat then touching my eye, makes my eye itch insanely, and the white of my eye swells up like gelatin. Rinsing my eye seriously in the shower is a cure, but it is still scary. My sister has the same allergy. Well then, don't touch your eye!
I had that problem as well and had to make sure I kept my hands away from my eyes after petting our kittehs. I guess after being around them for so many years now I am no longer reactive to their dander and fur. I also take Singulair for allergies, so I'm sure that helps, too. I can't even imagine my life without cats! Itchy eyes or no itchy eyes.

My barely 8 lb. Stella manages to somehow take me from near the middle of a king-sized bed, when she settles down against my side at night, to me hanging off the side of the mattress in the a.m.. My back starts aching and I wake up to find that she has done this and I have no memory of moving there!

No cat in bed, thank you.
However, an easy chair, a throw blanket, and a cat on my lap is the best possible combination for a relaxing nap.
The cat does his part responsibly. He comes trotting over when he hears the footrest go up on the easy chair.
