Grapefruit-sized tumor. And the kid is only 11 years old. How big is the kid? Are we talking about minority obesity here? With all the white honky taxpayers going to foot the bill for the exotic surgery? Yep. Yep. And Yep again. Now how did I know the poor sweetie was gonna be a person of color?
Unfortunately, Pancreatic Cancer is almost always fatal.
Oh Lord. My prayers for the kid. I really hope it all works out but that is just a brutal procedure for anyone, let alone an 11 year old kid.
I can't even imagine what her parents are feeling.
So the only way to suspect pancreatic cancer is eyes that look yellow?
My mother had yellowing skin which was noted by her niece nurse. She had liver duct cancer. Was dead within 3 weeks.
I was reading the family’s comments on her fundraising page. They said that the tumor is benign, thank goodness! Even though it is benign, she’s going to have a tough road ahead. She’ll probably be a diabetic from having so much of her pancreas removed. Prayers to the family!
Beautiful girl, God bless her — and the dentist!
Prayers for the girl. Edmond, OK. My hometown.
My mom had that only instead of a tumor on her pancreas, she had it on her bile duct. Whipple surgery is nothing to sneeze at. She lived for six years and then cancer spread throughout her body and she died.
