Could be. Trouble in lanes ahead of him, distracted by paparazzi, not used to pulling a trailer, etc. Is the Escalade even his? His normal daily driver seems to be a big Mercedes. Claims that he might face anything criminal seem more unlikely as time passes.

I agree. At the most, he'll face some vehicular charge but I do believe the poor woman's family will come at him for damages. Either way, it's tragic. I personally never cared for the guy but I feel for all involved here.
