Are you sure about that?

Let me be clear, I would never say he wasn’t a saved man because I don’t know what was really in his heart at the end of his life.

I understand why Catholics would be comfortable with him, but Protestants and Evangelicals should know he rejected many of your foundational beliefs. I won’t delve into all the minutiae here, but, among many other problems, Lewis rejected biblical inerrancy, penal substitutionary atonement, and salvation by faith alone.

Much has been written and said about his aberrant beliefs, so I won’t recreate the work of others. I decided to stay away from his work years ago and don’t know the best resources on Lewis. I did a quick search and the articles linked below popped-up. There may be much better ones out there. I also found a few sermons from sermonaudio.com.
