I’ve got news for you. Plenty of Texans smoked weed way before it was legal in Colorado.

The only difference between this and the weed smokers from the past is where it’s being smuggled from.

This is no doubt true, but there is a well know fallacy in which you assert something that is true, and insinuate that it proves your point, when in fact it doesn't.

Your irrelevant fact has no bearing on the point that usage will grow if the product is made available.

If you dispute this, then explain how the usage is not currently zero. If it didn't grow, how did it ever rise to the current level? By what amazing stretch of mental acuity can you argue it won't keep growing beyond the current level?
