They need to catch some of these jackrabbits and release them in Plains, Georgia.
This kind of stuff is why I love FR. LOL
Ping for ND content.
>>You might not drop them on there on the spot [from a pellet hit] but they would die somewhere.
I’m not so sure. See mcshot’s comments in post #64.

The hindquarters make excellent bait for bobcat traps.
The numbers are too close to .22.
lol - and as much as I love our pet rabbits (we’ve had 10 in our lives) - these are feral and in the least, they should end up on a plate....In college we had a field practicum out in the woods, the prof took some students to his house to kill some domestic (escapee) rabbits that lived under his barn - they came back with a pile - we roasted them over a wood fire and enjoyed one of the best meals of my life.
brisket is tough when its cooked poorly too - IMO if theres plenty of rosemary, garlic, olive oil and a patient hand at the oven, you can make a shoe taste good.....we eat tripe in our family....on its own it is nasty and smelly - boil it for 4 hrs in diluted vinegar (windows open) and then a tomato sauce for 10 hrs and you have a piece of heaven
what a happy little guy - I bet he/she is a lot of fun
This is so funny. I grew up in rural NW Iowa which is highly populated with these creatures.
After college I moved to the city and married a lifelong suburb-dweller. He always made fun of me for calling our tiny little yard guests “bunnies” while he called them “rabbits.” I just laughed and said “you’ve never seen a rabbit.”
So one day, when we were on our way to visit my parents, a rather smallish jackrabbit ran in front of the car. His reaction was priceless. I was like “My dear, THAT is a rabbit”...LOL!
with or without a side of tularemia? I wouldn’t go near wild rabbit.
Next you'll be singing the praises of sod poodle, rock chuck, and muskrat - a.k.a. swamp rabbit.
