The entire movie was so hilarious, I can’t recall the ending...except the ladder truck with someone on the ladder and Ethel Merman striding down the hospital ward between the beds...

I wish I had the movie. I could really use a laugh, right about now.

“It’s A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World” is a great favorite of mine.

I was down near Palm Desert early this month, and actually drove up to Grogan’s Point, there, on Hwy 74. The kids loved it. The older ones have seen the movie two or three times, so they thought actually visiting a few of the filming locations was pretty cool.

The road is every bit as serpentine as it looks in the film, but we did manage to stay on the pavement; it would, indeed, be VERY bad to go sailing right out there.
