In Las Vegas, the HOAs have such a bad reputation that the local news channels have invented an “HOA Hall of Shame.” Just the fact that there are certain HOA officials who make the news in a not-so-worthy way has produced a new set of laws from Carson City.
There is enough corruption here — we don’t need intimidating little despots to make us want to move.

Happy June 1st!
I don’t use Ibuprofen for headaches, as the headaches I get are either migraine or sinus, or a nasty little monster called an “icepick headache.” It feels just like the name and only lasts a second or two, but it can hit several times a day or even several times an hour. It seems to be one of the more peculiar symptoms of CFIDS.
I use the Ibuprofen at night for pain, because the morphine keeps me awake, and I can’t take it if I want to sleep.

Just the fact that there are certain HOA officials who make the news in a not-so-worthy way has produced a new set of laws from Carson City. Just ban 'em. In Houston there was one notorious case where the HOA evicted a senior from her home for lack of fee payments. Then her home was sold at auction for pennies on the dollar.
Turns out the guy who bought the home at auction was related to the HOA president.
Once a local talk-show host got wind and started publicizing it the city government got involved and got the woman her home back.
Power corrupts. People should never have it if at all possible. If they should have it, they should know their neighbors have it, too (like gun ownership).

There are lots of horror stories about HOAs. It’s a wonder that they are still in existence. Too many complaints.
In other news, I can’t get my new computer to recognize my printer or my 3TB external hard drive. I need the files and I need to be able to print. I HATE when I have nasty surprises to deal with.
I’ve installed the software for both but they may as well not be there.

Go to control panel>hardware>usb devices to see if there are problems with the motherboard devices, such as not being enabled....report back
