I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

Now he must meet the Darksheare challenge: set a (non coal) normal ordinary rock on fire.

Awesomely sad. Or maybe that’s just my mood. Thanks, Bob. Your work is always so spot-on.

I spent the 6-2 shift yesterday and today (OK, still time to go today) in a windowless room testing our software with a bunch of Sanitation Workers who will be training their peers beginning at midnight tonight.
Yesterday I hoped to get something done after 2, but it was just more cathearding as we try to have everything ready for the day AFTER training when this system needs to be live.
Anybody who thinks this universe made itself run has never tried to get a fairly simple software system on-line.
I am tired.

"... but it was just more cathearding as we try to have everything ready ..." I don't necessarily have a poem ready for every circumstance. I can also whip them up on the fly. But in this instance:
The Herding of Cats
The herding of cats is a challenge,
As anyone might expect.
Keeping them fenced is one thing,
But theyre just as hard to collect.
Then once you get them moving,
Theyre wont to wander off,
And most anything will spook them,
Theyll think its a Zot when you cough.
You have to keep them channeled,
And focused on moving along,
The thinning of herds in migration,
Means the herdsman is doing it wrong.
Just because they separate,
And lope off on their own little tack,
You cant make the claim they were never yours,
It makes you seem loose with a fact.
They like to think theyre all leaders,
So just let each one have his say,
Follow along til they go where you want,
Just as if you had planned it that way.

Little by little, I’m getting things done in here. I still have to write a letter to the agency who handles my aides and let them know I’ve had enough with the changes and the pressure they try to exert on me.
Since CFIDS is insidious, most people look at a PWC and think, “What a malingerer.” Been there, done that. So I’m here to educate another group of people.
Some days, that’s very difficult because of the very nature of the disease.
However, I’m going to give it a try. It may take me several days, but I will get it done.

That kitten is almost as messy as Sparkle, but she has a reason...she picks up one piece of food at a time to eat it, but she has a little trouble managing the moist food. A lot of that ends up on the floor. And once it’s there, she won’t eat it.
