I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?
Except on a hot day.
Imagination!
nice art

I think that describes me.
At least, I wonder a lot how people can be so stupid.
Maybe I should take up poetry?
I wonder what would happen if you told the greanies about all the trees being killed to make sure people don't kill too many trees. Would they implode?
I do have one question.
To any attorney; a lawyer; scum-sucking bottom dweller, or protector of our freedoms, or believer in the Constitution, "Federal Regulations" probably has two meanings.
Why brin innocent flounder into this?
Exotherms have that reputation.
Bureaucracy does generate enough useless paperwork to generate power if burned.
Hmm.
Maybe, instead of actually making useless or egregious laws, Congress could write the laws up, debate them, then use them to generate power instead.
Whoever generates the most power gets a snowcone.
Snowcones have been banned by the EPA because of their impact on Global Climate Change (herinafter referred to as BS to save space).
I’ve often wondered why we don’t put massive wind farms on Capitol Hill. We could generate enough power to handle the entire mid-atlantic region.
The entire eastern seaboard when Congress is in session.
I’m home finally. I spent almost 2.5 hours with Geek Squad trying to get Busdaddy’s printer to work. They finally found the right driver and killed about 800 malware viruses. (Virusi?)
And I feel like Mother Hubbard. I’m nearly out of string cheese, which I use the most the stave off the hunger from the hypoglycemia, and I think I have enough to get a small package of it. But I sure don’t want to go to Walmart to get it...It’s time for the Blue-Haired Walmartians to be out.
The mailman actually delivered mail at Busdaddy’s yesterday, so the thank you card went out. I think that’s the last one...or next to the last...I think.
It’s overcast and windy and only 73 degrees. *sigh*
I walked almost three miles yesterday at Busdaddy’s because his house is so big and so strangely laid out. Nothing is convenient to anything else.
Anyway, now that I’m home, I don’t want to be. Go figger.
I went to the Scout Shop because we needed some new uniform pants and some books. Now I’m in financial shock! Other than that, I’m still trying to get paperwork for day camp: down to 3 missing items ...
One of the nieces in Idaho is into Scouting, and she has sticker shock every time she has to buy something at their store. I feel bad for that, but proud of the fact that she is very creative in helping with earning the badges. She can make projects almost out of nothing for them to assemble and learn from.
What a gloomy day. :o[
It’s very nice here. Sally’s Venture pants were $50!!!
YOIKS!
I don’t know how much they are in ID, but I know lots of folks there can’t pay that.
After a time, you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing after all as wanting. It is not logical, but it is often true. - Mr. Spock.
It’s just that I’m so wrapped up in the minutiae of Busdaddy’s life that when something like this (computer and car registration and insurance) happens, it means that me being somewhere besides “right there” is very stressful for me.
It’s what I get for being so dependable for so long. Things like this, I have to walk him through, step by step.
Me? I have all my FRiends to rely on and vent to, and I think sometimes, some folks would rather I found a new outlet for my frustrations. No one likes to hear complaints all the time. But I seem be the Resident Complainer... :o[
When you live in a nice place and have nice things and and are always griping because nice <> perfect nobody likes to listen.
When you're doing your absolute best to make the most tolerable lemonade you can from the over-sized lemons you've been handed, you get a very big pass.
Thanks, ArGee. That helps. I’ve always tried to make lemonade, but some days, the lemons tasth kinda pithy-like.
When live hands you melons you may be dyslexic.
