I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

That's how you cut and paste.

Unless you're on an Android tablet, but we'll save that for another day. Is that how it works on a Mac?

"You were discussing bringing in a species into a different environment when talking about pangolin smuggling."

The pangolin species are threatened because they are smuggled. They do not normally become an invasive species that way.

It's a good way to become an extinct species, though.

The south is overrun with kudzu because the locals haven’t figured out how to cook with it yet.

"Mac and Me" is a different situation.

The locals just aren’t that hungry yet. Kudzu is okay ... I’ve used it in place of spinach ... but you can eat stinging nettles, too, if you’re on the verge of starvation.

Thanks for the statistics, Moosie!
And I’m sorry I didn’t get back to you yesterday when you posted them, but it’s been a busy four days.

Then tell Michelle O. that cooking with Kudzu reduces childhood obesity and you’ll have a shortage in no time.

I’ll be heading for the doctor’s office in about 90 minutes, and I’m not excited about it, as the pain and vertigo are pretty intense this morning.

I’m trying to decide if it’s happening because the cortisone is doing its job or if the arthritis is worse. I tend to lean towards the former, but it’s really scary.

Busdaddy is very happy about the truck but unhappy about having payments to make. The good thing is that he can afford to make the payments, so I’m trying to convince him that up to now, he has been spoiled with no bills. And now, of course, he will begin to build up his credit. :o])

We rode around in the truck yesterday, and it was a little funny to see him take a corner as if he were still driving the dually! But it is a very nice truck and he is happy with it.

I wonder if he calculated the money he poured into the old truck if the monthly expenses (on average) are higher or lower with the new truck.

We won’t talk about the cost of the aggrivation of needing work done.

Up to now the expenses on the old truck were tires and their rotation ($1400 for six,) fuel ($160 a tank,) yearly registration and smog test ($300,) and liability insurance. He WAS however, faced with a $4500 repair bill for the current problem, the possibility of a $700 fuel pump, and a few other things inherent with the age of the old truck.

The new truck has a three year warranty on it for repairs, so that he only has to pay a $100 deductible. He will figure it all out for himself, and come to terms with it for what it is.

I’m just glad he doesn’t have to rely on his motorcycle to get to work. It is cold and windy and has been since Saturday. Saturday night, we had a horrendous rain and wind storm that deposited snow on Mt. Charleston, for the first time in almost two months. It is cold and windy out right now, and I don’t want to be out in it. If it weren’t for the doctor’s appointment at 0830, I would be safe and snug in my own place.

No worries.

Good news about the truck. I hope things go well at the doctor.

I let Frank go outside this morning, since he’s been symptom-free since Saturday. Pat and Kathleen are still pending.

I am so depressed, and no pink drink to be had. Not even an ice cold beer.

I got stopped half a mile from home for doing 47 in a 35 zone, and for having expired registration. $150 for speeding, $375 for registration. WAAAAAAH! BUT! He gave me a warning, since my driving record is clean and I was honest and had my insurance documents, and that is good, but...

The doctor told me there was nothing more she could do if the epidurals weren’t all that successful and it seems to be cranial nerves (heheheh — da BREMs are at fault!) that are affected and surgery is next. She has given me a referral for orthopedics, and they will be notifying me soon.

She has also give me a prescription for a cane...

So the morning so far has been pretty ugly. And I still want that beer. Too much to deal with.

Vivid evidence as to the need to consign Queen Elizabeth’s Corgis to the Tower of London. Salad tossers, the lot of them.

Sorry about your bad morning.

I wouldn’t have to worry about cranial nerves because my cranium is mostly empty. (I use it for storage.)
