I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?
I figured it up (no more WW to do it for me) and I’ve lost a total of 37 pounds. That means I only have 20 to go! YAY ME!!
I guess it won’t be long and I’ll be looking for thinner clothes...
It was 64 when I woke up this morning, and the wind was from the SW @ 9. That is going to go up to about 20 mph in a few hours when that latest front from the CA storms gets closer.
Do they know what’s wrong with the purple car? The place I take the truck to is closed weekends, but it’s the only place I trust. And tomorrow is booked for them.
It started getting light outside and Sparkle came to my side of the bed, on the floor, sat and meowed at me, like, “It’s time to wake up and feed my starving self!” She is a funny cat, but my sinuses go nuts if she gets too close, so I take a lot of Benedryl.
The car is getting a new starter.
Ah. There’s an expense I don’t have. I’m worried about buying a battery this year. This is the beginning of the third year of having Mr. Bill, and batteries don’t last that long here. The summer heat kills them when you least expect it. I’m going to try not to think about it so I don’t make it happen...
“His name is darkness, he’s my old friend”
I understand the feeling.
The bunny looks a little nervous.
The local stations are not offering the Conference this year, so I’m watching it on the computer at lds.org. Right now, the Tabernacle Choir is singing their usual Sunday fare, called Music and the Spoken Word.
The conference starts at 0900 for two hours, then a two hour break, then the final two hours. All the talks are so uplifting, at every conference.
Bunnies usually are... I remember the rabbit in “Alice in Wonderland”
I wonder where this one put his pocket-watch?
I enjoy a good, uplifting religious talk. Also hymn-singing.
I picked up Tom at the high school. Next I’ll have lunch.
Heh, good one.
I think, while there is a lunch break for the conference, I’m going to stretch out on the sofa. My back is bothering me a little.
Of course, there is an LDS version of world news from the LDS perspective, and I want to watch it, but my back hates me.
We are supposed to get wind with gusts up to 50 mph, and right now, the wind is about 10 mph with 75 degrees out. Not going out there for love nor money.
Busdaddy wanted me to come over yesterday, but I told him (besides being ill) that I wasn’t driving until the truck was fixed. That will be sometime Tuesday morning, so as soon as I get the call from the shop, I will text you.
Busdaddy is now a slim 188, and as long as I have known him, I have never seen him so slender. I hope his weight stabilizes soon. His overall health has improved, of course, but he is waiting till he doesn’t lose any more. He plans on staying on Nutrisystem for a full year. Two and a half months to go.
Tom would be slim if he was 188, too!
I’ve entered all the information for Cub Scouts day camp into the District’s computer system and sent emails to people who haven’t turned their paperwork in. Maybe I’ll go lie down with Jake for a while, thus avoiding the Pink Drink.
I think Tom has a few inches on Busdaddy. The latter is 5’11”.
I don’t think I want Pink Drink, and it’s probably just as well because I don’t have any, and I don’t want to go get any. As it is, I need trash bags and storage bags, and I’m not going to get them, either. I have just enough to pay for the registration without late fees, and that’s scary.
However, I have food, so that’s good!
Umm..
I was 64 when I woke up some years ago now.
Oh, wait. You meant the temperature.
Nevermind..
On another note - a little something from Moosie's side of the saltypond thingy.
It seems to fit the day - played on the organ at All Saints Church Oystermouth in Swansea. ;-)
Ah, now I have a target to strive for; I would like to fit 'Face's definition of slim.
My definition of “slim” is different for men than it is for women.
You’re safe!
The advantage of having broad shoulders rather than wide hips.
