I’m making a resolution right now that I’m going to get the RX-7 licensed this month. First it needs to be inspected again, because the inspection “expired” when it wasn’t licensed within 3 months after.
I’m almost afraid to get the truck smogged because I’m afraid it will fail, but I have to do it ASAP. Friday morning, as soon as I fill the tank on the BB SUV, and have driven around for a while, I will go to the nearest inspection station and get it done. That way, when I get home, I can get it registered. We now pay $31 in “government fees” per registration. Otherwise it would cost me a whopping $53.
I have three months to get it registered, but there are some herky late fees attached to that.
That’s what happens when there is no state tax.
We have the fees and a substantial state income tax.
The $31 in government services is something the legislature came up with about five years ago. Otherwise, the registration on my truck would go down each year until it reached the minimum, which was about $21.
If I could get the vehicle declared “antique” there would be no smog test required. Haha.
In North Carolina, a vehicle over 35 years old is “antique.” The 7 has only a few more years to go.
Today, HERE is delighted to announce HERE Kitty, a geo-intelligent collar for domestic cats that is beneficial for cats and owners alike.
One example of the mutual benefits of HERE Kitty is that it uses HERE maps to show exactly where your cat is down to 10-centimeter precision.
We also plan to gather anonymised data from cats wearing HERE Kitty and share it with the Feline Occidental and Oriental Laboratory, a research institute dedicated to the welfare of domestic cats.
Schrödingers cat was predictably ambivalent. When asked if he welcomed the HERE Kitty collar he said, Yes and no, declining to clarify his statement before getting back into his box.
We need one of those for Frank.
Since I don’t allow my kitty outside, I won’t be needing this. First, she would have to get out the security door (metal mesh screen) and then figure out how to navigate the gate. She just recently learned how to jump high enough to sit on the window sill, so I doubt she would learn how to jump high enough to get over the fence... Poor silly kitty!
Yes, I can see that Frank would need one. He has always been a wanderer!
“Where’s Frank?” is now a regular neighborhood recreational event.
LOL!!! I believe it!
“I haven’t seen him today.”
“He was at the playground earlier.”
“Maybe he’s at Logan’s house?”
“Look, here’s his scooter!”
The website is Ereader News Today. They have gone through a couple of name changes, but it is still a good deal. You can put in your reading preferences and they will offer you several items a day.
Good luck!
