I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

I just want movies. My ADD is often at play, so I need things that will hold my attention for longer than 10 minutes. I get bored with sit coms, and always have been. But thanks for the info. It might come in handy when I have a relapse.

I understand about the UPS man. I like mail too.

With no family nearby, I need a little excitement. My herbal remedies come by UPS and from the time I order to the time they show up on this side of my gate, I’m checking the UPS site for “Out For Delivery!”

But they only show up once a month!

They have lots of free movies, too. I just watched an old Lone Ranger movie (with Clayton Moore). It was a hoot.

It will be 73 today, so say the weather prognosticators. My door is open, and there are Sunbeans in the bedroom window for a while.

Perfect weekend for NASCAR! I’d like to go, but I think the cost of the tickets would buy a lot of groceries! At least the way I eat...

I found a back-up alarm for the truck for $8 and Busdaddy installed it for me. I have been so afraid of inadvertently backing over someone in the Walmart parking lot...even honking the horn hasn’t been a deterrent. A few days ago, I was backing out of my parking spot at Walmart, and believe it or not, a woman actually stopped when she heard the alarm! YES!!! I feel much better, now!

I figured out how to fix the La-Z-Boy, and got a couple of pieces of 2”X4” for the feet. I also got some wood screws, but I need to borrow Busdaddy’s power tool to put them in. The wood glue is OK, but it isn’t permanent. At least it doesn’t take a crane to pull me out...

That banana was a bad actor, a rogue element, a Wildman!
It deserved it, I tell you!

We have a similar issue with the zebra-striped loveseat. You’ll have to sit on the sofa.

I’m lucky I guess. My folks live three miles away.

The rest of the family is all in different states.

Well, at least with my weight loss, it won’t be quite so critical. I can get down just fine...getting up requires an act of congress!

I’ve sat on the sofa before, and the love seat you had was a challenge. Is this one worse?

My daughter lives 10 miles from me as the crow flies, but she may as well be in Canada for as often as I have contact with her. My son and my sibs are all of state, and of course, my parents have been gone a long time.

You guys remind me of Benny Hill.

Oh, I don't know. He was just one of the bunch.

I thought he was ... appealing.

I can’t read about Yakety Sax without hearing the music playing.

If you sit on the left side of the loveseat, it’s okay. On the right side, you’re sunk.

It was like that when we got it, free from one of my choir members, but Tom made it worse!

Simple matter; avoid the “Sheldon seat”.
