I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

The guy who comes to clean for me didn’t come today. I just didn’t want to deal with him.
And since he didn’t come, I have to change the linens. At this point, since I just did my dishes, I will have to rest my back a bit before I tackle with the bedding. And I have to vacuum to top of the quilt to get Sparkle’s hair off it.
I don’t know how I will deal with summer... I don’t have any summer bedding, but I don’t want her hair on the sheets. At least, I want to confine the shedded hair to one spot. So maybe, if I have the money, I will go to JoAnn’s and buy a remnant of fleece for the foot of the bed. That way, Sparkle can shed her hair and I can wash the fleece...
Having you come to my house would be an honor, Bob. I doubt that you would clean, but you could sit and read to me!

Too bed D.C. couldn’t have declared a snow month...they could tell the Democraps and forget to tell conservatives so there would be no opposition. Dims will believe almost anything.

Just checked your home page...
When I was a kid (a LONG time ago) we lived in a semi-rural area. A white cat adopted us and became one of the best mousers I ever saw. However, a neighborhood kid, Jack the Idiot Bully, shot her in the hip with an arrow.
We took her to the vet and he put a cast on her leg. She was an “outside” cat (my mother didn’t like cats...) and as soon as she recovered sufficiently, she learned how to navigate the garden with her right rear leg in a cast. We’re talking about late October and November in the Rockies, so it was cold and muddy at best, cold and frozen at worst.
My mother “relented” and made the cat a denim sleeve for the cast to help keep the moisture and muck away. I loved that cat, and felt bad that my mother wasn’t more of a cat person. She DID say, in a rare moment of compassion, “I don’t know why I paid $75 for a cast for that darn cat. But she IS a good mouser...”

Okay, I’m finished moving snow for awhile. Anyone else who wants to use the blower, go ahead.

The leaves from last fall are still on the ground so if the snow blower can take care of them, I could use it for about 30 minutes, thanks....
I mean, the trees are greening up very nicely!
