I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

Since I got Sparkle in November, she has been confined to the bedroom because of her history. In case you aren’t familiar with it:
She was kept in a 20”x18”x18” for six months, and prior to that time, she was physically abused. She has been depressed and suffered from PTSD, and I’ve been trying to help her adjust to a non-abusive environment. She has made amazing progress just by being left alone to adjust. The bedroom, now, is her “safe” environment, and I’ve been trying to gradually introduce her to an increasing number and variety of stimuli.
Today, meeting someone she has never seen before, was good for her, and I’m excited about the future for her! She is a rockin’ cat!

This would be my third trip to visit Tax-chick, the Chicklets, and Jake and Shannon. It’s always fun when I go there, as we watch LOTS of movies! Of course, my posting on FR will be cut back, but it’s only temporary!

That’s what I’m thinking! Thanks for the input. I checked out some pet hospitals today to get prices and see the facilities, and believe it or not, PetSmart’s PetHotel seems to be the best environment for Sparkle’s current needs.
She would have four (minimum of two) cages to play in during the day, and two hours of play time every day, as opposed to one a day at other facilities.
In view of her abusive, enclosed history, this is a good alternative.

And speaking of cats...
It seems that Photoshop is 25 years old and PetaPixel did a thing about it and how much easier it is than the tricks used in the old dark-room. Since that piece on Photoshop got me to their site, I looked around and found - cats.. ;-)
Portraits of Men with Their Beloved Cat Companions
I liked this one - it's so typically male-looking.. ;-) I mean, note how the furniture is color-coordinated with the curtains, how everything is neatly put away, how the litterbox is color-matched to the lampshades, and how the lampshades are both tilted almost the same degree toward the right, and the cat is..

Nice kitties!

Speaking of movies, Tom has downloaded the Expanded Editions of all the LOTR movies. He talked me into paying the iTunes charge by assuring me that there is Much More Boromir in the Expanded Editions ;-).

It was in the 60s and no more humid than home, this time of year. I think it was supposed to get up to 80 by late yesterday afternoon, but I was in the airport then and it didn’t matter.

"Ah good, the Eagle has landed." "Every day is Monday, except Friday." -- Remember that I said that.

When Bobby Was Seven
When Bobby was seven,
He liked playing games,
Liked working out puzzles,
And had puzzled aims.
He mostly was smiling,
About average size,
And his exercise program,
Involved mainly his eyes.
He liked to hear music,
Couldnt figure out dance,
His movements reflected,
All those ants in his pants.
As his friends fondly noted,
There was surely a way,
Having made it to seven,
Hed grow up one day.
